Hollywood, CA, United States (4E) – Nicki Minaj thinks that her VMA performance could have been more X-rated but people were wowed by her live performance last Sunday. Minaj performed ‘Anaconda’ and it was much tamer than the video but still has been one of the most talked about performances that night.

All the twerking and the booty-shaking were intense and the crowd went wild. But it seems that the rapper herself was not that pleased with her performance and wanted it to have been wilder. Minaj noted that the performance would have been better if real live snakes were there.

The snake that was used in the video had bitten one of the female dancers during their rehearsal on Saturday. This then prompted the move that they could not perform her single with the six-foot reptile on stage.

The dancer who was bitten was rushed to the hospital and was able to recover just in time to perform at Minaj’s number during the VMAs. Minaj was asked by TMZ about the female dancer and she answered saying that she loves that the dancer was a trooper.

Even if Minaj thought that her performance was not that great, she enjoyed twerking and grinding against her dancers. The rapper was wearing a two piece green outfit and had body paint on her legs to make it look like the scales of a snake. She also had a great backdrop to set the mood all the more.

Nicki Minaj also opened the VMAs with Ariana Grande and Jessie J as the trio sang their collaborated single ‘Bang Bang’. Minaj had a wardrobe malfunction but that did not stop her from performing the show with the two other pop stars. Minaj held on to her dress exposing her belly part but she still rap her way until the song was finished.

Minaj’s ‘Anaconda’ live performance at the VMAs had everyone in awe but it definitely is one of the most unforgettable performances from the rapper.
