Clarion, Pa. – The preseason 2014 First Commonwealth Bank/ District 9 Top 10 football rankings have been released with DuBois Area in the top spot.

The Beavers are coming off a 6-5 season and return a host of talented players led by quarterback Gabe French and wide receiver Bryson Paulinellie.

Three defending District 9 champions and a runner-up round out the Top 5 with defending Class AA titlist Karns City coming in at No. 2, defending Class A champion Clarion at No. 3, defending Class AAA crown winners Clearfield at No. 4 and the 2013 Class AA runner-up Kane at No. 5.
