Paramus, NJ, United States (4E Sports) – Hunter Mahan wins The Barclays Golf Tournament Sunday and was presented the trophy, which he accidentally broke after posing for a photo with David Finn.

Mahan knelt down before leaving to have one last photo with Finn, who has muscular dystrophy.

But Mahan broke the Barclays trophy after setting the trophy to the ground.

The 32-year-old laughed with Finn and exclaimed, “David did it!”

Moments earlier, Mahan’s daughter almost pushed over the trophy after it was presented to him.

When Mahan was asked what happened to the trophy he stated, “I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

Mahan won the tournament with three straight birdies.

He had the victory after a 20-foot putt down the slope on the par-5 17th, allowing him a bogey on the final hole for a 6-under 65 and a two-shot victory.

“This game is all about winning,” Mahan said.

He added, “So to get a win, and do it in a tournament like this in this kind of fashion with a 65 on Sunday, feels great.”
