Napa, CA, United States (4E Sports) – The National Hockey League’s Stanley Cup will be displayed on August 30 at The Westin Verasa Napa (1314 McKinstry St.) from 5pm to 8pm.

It will be placed at the hotel lobby and fans are highly encouraged to take photos with the trophy.

The Stanley Cup will be visiting Napa after the Los Angeles Kings won the 2014 NHL, against the New York Rangers.

The Westin Verasa Napa general manager Don Shindle stated, “We’re delighted to display this historic trophy of sports achievement at our property. We can’t wait to see the Cup in person.”

The silver and nickel alloy trophy have already travelled to destinations like Russia, Japan, Switzerland, and even the mountain peaks in the Rockies.

This visit of the Stanley Cup to Napa may help the people regain their high spirits facing a 6.0-magnitude quake which struck at 3:20 am Sunday.

It was the largest recorded quake since the Loma Prieta earthquake which did significant damage, 25 years ago.

The quake injured around 100 people, damaged historical establishments, and caused fires and power outages.
