Cleveland, OH, United States (4E Sports) – Jose Ramirez’ RBI single powered the Cleveland Indians past the Houston Astros, 3-2 Saturday at Progressive Field.
A Jose Altuve single plated Jake Marisnick while a throwing error by Indians’ Chris Dickerson brought home Robbie Grossman to put the Astros up 2-0 in the third.
Michael Brantley singled in the bottom of the third to trigger a run by Ramirez that cut the Indians deficit to 2-1.
A Michael Bourn RBI ground out plated Lonnie Chisenhall to tie the game in the fourth.
Ramirez singled in the ninth to ignite a run by Tyler Holt for the winning margin.
Indians starter Danny Salazar gave up three hits and two runs wih one earned while striking out seven in six innings.
Astros starter Collin McHugh gave up eight hits and two runs while striking out two in 5 1/3 innings.
