Hollywood, CA, United States (4E) – Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, and Jessie J have been announced to be doing the opening number for the VMAs with their newly released single “Bang Bang”. The three stars have not yet released the official music video so their fans are excited to see them all on the VMA stage.
‘Bang Bang’ has been released by the end of July and the song is still currently at number nine on the Billboard’s Hot 100. The opening is a not to miss event and it will be aired live this coming Sunday, 24th of August. The video is said to be released after the opening at BangBang.mtv.com.
Just after the opening of the VMAs, Ariana Grande has announced that she will be releasing her album entitled “My Everything” just one day after the event. ‘Bang Bang’ is included in the deluxe edition of Grande’s album.
As for Jessie J, she said that the single will be in her upcoming third album but no information about the released date has been announced yet. Minaj did not include the single in her album.
Jesssie J was very enthusiastic upon knowing that they will be doing the opening. She said that she always dreamed on performing at the VMA stage. Back in 2011, she had a broken foot and was just on the side stage. She was then the VMA House Artist but she could not do anything other than sit. A
Grande and Minaj were already announced to have their own solo performances. Grande is said to perform “Break Free” while Minaj is to perform “Anaconda”.
