LT Supers Announce Mill Road Closings for Paving

CLEARFIELD – With paving under way on Mill Road, the Lawrence Township Supervisors announced at last night’s meeting that Mill Road will be closed today and Thursday from 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. from Park Street to and including Weaver Street.

Township Secretary Treasurer Barb Shaffner said there will likely be closings next week as well, and closing schedules will be announced in the news media.

The supervisors ask residents to plan for alternate routes to access Turnpike Avenue and Clearfield Penn Highlands during the next several weeks until the paving project is completed.

Roadmaster Dan Mitchell reported that paving on Grice and Mann roads is completed.  Mitchell added that the township road crew continues work on Lick Run Road and will be moving to Goshen and McGeorge roads next.
