Peyton Manning’s touchdown pass energizes Broncos in dominating 49ers

Santa Clara, CA, United States (4E Sports) – Peyton Manning’s 17-yard touchdown pass energized the Denver Broncos past the San Francisco 49ers, 34-0 in a preseason game at Levi’s Stadium.

A Matt Prater field goal put the Broncos up 3-0 in the first.

Manning’s touchdown pass to Julius Thomas and C.J. Anderson’s one-yard touchdown run made it 17-0 for the Broncos in the second.

Brock Osweiler hit Cody Latimer from 33 yards out to make it 24-0 in the third.

Mitch Ewald completed a 22-yard field goal early in the fourth while Zac Dysert’s 16-yard pass to Cameron Morrah resulted in a touchdown with 2:34 remaining for the final score.

Demaryius Thomas had three catches on Broncos’ opening drive, including a 20-yard gain.

McLeod Bethel-Thompson went 6 for 8 for 79 yards, Blaine Gabbert went 8 for 14 for 40 yards and Colin Kaepernick went 5 for 9 for 39 yards for the 49ers.
