Seattle, WA, United States (4E Sports) – Russell Wilson had two touchdown runs as the Seattle Seahawks ripped the San Diego Chargers, 41-14 Friday at CenturyLink Field.
Wilson also completed 11 of 13 passes, and connected on his first eight attempts and ran for 121 yards.
A one-yard touchdown run by Robert Turbin and a field goal by Steven Hauschka gave the Seahawks a 10-0 lead at the end ofthe first quarter.
Wilson then had the two touchdown runs in the second quarter to push the Seahawks’ lead to 24-0.
Kellen Clemens hit Keenan Allen from 13 yards to cut the Chargers’ deficit to 24-7 at the half.
Another Hauschka field goal made it a 27-7 Seahawks (1-1) lead at 9:09 of the third.
But Clemens completed another touchdown pass, this time to Jake Byrne, as the Chargers (1-1) closed in at 27-14 with 1:49 left in thhe third.
In the fourth, Terrelle Pryor had a 44-yard toughdown run and B.J. Daniels added a six-yard touchdown run to boost the Seahawks winning margin to 41-14.
Clemens threw for 149 yards and two touchdowns in the loss.
