St. Louis, MO, United States (4E Sports) – Aaron Rodgers was 11 for 13 for 128 yards and a touchdown pass as the Green Bay Packers subdued the St. Louis Rams, 21-7 Saturday in a preseason tussle at Edward Jones Dome.
He hit Randall Cobb from three yards out as the Packers took a 7-0 first quarter lead.
Mason Crosby connected on a field goal from 31 yards to make it a 10-0 Packers lead at 12:41 of the seccond.
Then Sam Bradford caught Lance Kendricks from 11 yards as the Rams cut their deficit to 10-7.
Matt Flynn threw a 34-yard touchdown pass to rookie Jeff Janis and added a 2-point conversion pass to Davante Adams that made it an 18-7 Packers lead in the third.
Mason Crosby’s fourth quarter field goal gave the Packers a 21-7 winning margin.
Flynn was two for three for 44 yards and a touchdown while Scott Tolzien was 10 for 15 for 107 yards.
Eddie Lacy had five carries for 25 yards on the Packers’ 12-play, 86-yard drive to start the game.
Meanwhile, the Rams’ Bradford was 9 for 12 for 101 yards also with a touchdown.
Michael Sam got his first sack of the preseason, dropping Matt Flynn for a 10-yard loss in the fourth quarter.
