New York, NY, United States (4E Sports) – Four-time MVP LeBron James, will head back to Miami on Christmas Day to face his former team he won two championships with, as the NBA announces the 2014-2015 schedule.
According to ESPN, the schedule of games will be released Wednesday at 6p.m.
The new calendar will reportedly have the Miami Heat hosting LeBron and the Cleveland Cavaliers on Christmas Day.
LeBron played his past four seasons with the Heat after leaving Cleveland in 2010.
He was able to help the team reach the Finals before losing to the Dallas Mavericks in his first season with the team.
In succeeding years, LeBron rose to the occasion winning back-to-back titles with the Heat in 2012 and 2013.
Last season’s championship setback against the San Antonio Spurs ended his stint in Miami.
LeBron decided to go back to his roots and inked a two-year, $42.1 million deal with the Cavs, the team he played his first seven seasons with.
Another marquee match-up to watch for on Christmas Day are Pacific Division rivals, Los Angeles Clippers taking on the Golden St. Warriors, as reported by the Los Angeles Times.
