New York, NY, United States (4E) – Emma Stone is in talks to make her Broadway debut as Sally Bowles in the musical Cabaret, multiple reports claim.

A representative for the show said in a statement to Just Jared, “I can confirm that Emma Stone is in negotiations to make her Broadway debut as ‘Sally Bowles’ in ‘Cabaret’ on Broadway at Roundabout Theatre Company,”

Currently, the Broadway revival of the famed musical is showing at the Kit Kat Klub at Studio 54 with Alan Cumming as the emcee, and Michelle Williams playing Bowles.

Williams is set to play her last on November 9, after which Stone is set to take over. “Cabaret” is scheduled to close on January 4, 2015.

Meanwhile, Stone, who has appeared in hit films such as “The Amazing Spider-Man,” “Superbad,” “Zombieland,” and “Easy A,” for which she received a Golden Globe nod, is working on an upcoming project with filmmaker Woody Allen.
