Madrid, Spain (4E Sports) – Real Madrid’s roster for the UEFA Super Cup showdown against Sevilla will include superstar forward, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo have been facing troubles with his tendinitis and was advised by doctors to not start.
If he would be playing, it would be his first ever game since Ghana ended his national team’s campaign in the 2014 World Cup.
Though he played for 20 minutes in a friendly against Manchester United in Michigan.
Ronaldo is also focused on his training with physiotherapist Antonio Gaspar, to stay fit for the opening of the season.
The Blancos forward did not play Real’s last seven games due to his injury, ending their campaign three points behind champions Atletico Madrid and runners-up Barcelona, according to ESPN FC.
Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez could team up with Ronaldo to form an effecient trio.
Bale signed an 85 million pound-deal with Real and helped the team defeat Atletico Madrid 4-1, and Barca 2-1.
Meanwhile, Rodriguez inked with the club for 71 million pounds after a stellar showing in the previous World Cup.
Rodriguez scored scored six goals to win the Golden Boot award in Brazil.
Ronaldo, Bale, and Rodriguez have a combined salary of $236 million pounds.
These signings are Real’s move to catch-up with big acquisitions from Barca with Neymar and Liverpool with Luis Suarez.
Goalkeeper Keylor Navas also makes it to the cut after Diego Lopez is rumored to sign with AC Milan.
