Lions rally past Browns on Kellen Moore’s touchdown pass

Detroit, MI, United States (4E Sports) – Kellen Moore’s touchdown pass to Corey Fuller pushed the Detroit Lions past the Cleveland Browns, 13-12 Saturday in a preseason game at Ford Field.

Lions kicker Nate Freese and his Browns counterpart Billy Cundiff exchanged field goals in the first and second quarters to tie the game a 6-6 at the half.

Cundiff also nailed a pair of field goals to put the Browns ahead 12-6 early in the fourth.

But Lions quarterback Moore hit Fuller on a 21 yard scoring strike with 1:05 remaining in the fourth quarter for the winning margin.

Moore went 11 of 13 for 121 yards while Lions backup quarterback Dan Orlovsky was12 of 23 for 89 yards.

Rookie tight end Eric Ebron, Detroit’s first-round draft pick out of North Carolina, caught one pass.

Browns starting quarterback Brian Hoyer Hoyer completed 6 of 14 passes for 92 yards while rookie Johnny Manziel was 7 of 11 for 63 yards and also ran for 27 yards on six carries.

Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon caught two passes for 32 yards.
