Caleb Joseph homers again as Orioles top Jays

Toronto, ON, Canada (4E Sports) – Caleb Joseph slammed a two-run homer as the Baltimore Orioles toppled the Toronto Blue Jays, 2-1 Thursday at Rogers Centre.

The Orioles’ two-run lead in the fourth was cut to 2-1 following Anthony Gose’s leadoff homer in the bottom of the fifth.

Orioles starter Miguel Gonzalez (6-6) got the job done on the mound, allowing just four hits in six innings.

Aside from surrendering the homer to Gose, the right-hander stayed out of trouble for the most part.

Andrew Miller, Darren O’Day and Zach Britton each worked an inning after Gonzalez was lifted.

Blue Jays left-hander J.A. Happ (8-6) struck out 12 in eight innings and allowed just two runs and five hits.
