Baltimore, MD, United States (4E Sports) – The Cleveland Browns fan who posted a youtube video of himself urinating on the grave of former team owner Art Modell has been identified and will be charged in court.

Baltimore County State’s Attorney Scott D. Shellenberger said that the charges will serve as a deterrent against indecencies on final resting places.

“Everyone who has buried a loved one has the right to believe that their final resting place will be treated with respect,” said Shellenberger.

According to the Maryland criminal code, “a person may not engage in indecent or disorderly conduct in a cemetery.” The crime carries a maximum sentence of two years in jail and a $500 fine.

Modell moved the Browns to Baltimore following the 1995 season and they became known as the Ravens. They won their first Super Bowl in 2000 and again in 2012.

A new franchise was awarded in 1999 to Cleveland, who continued with the Browns name and has since posted an abysmal 77-163 record.
