New York, NY, United States (4E) – SkyWest, Inc. said on Friday that it forecasts lower financial results in the second quarter compared to what the company previously anticipated.
The holding company predicts a net loss of $12mn to $14mn for the period, resulting in an estimated per-share loss $0.23 to $0.28.
Analysts forecast the company to register per-share earnings of $0.22 for the quarter. Analysts’ estimates typically exclude one-time items.
The passenger airline and aircraft leasing company said the downward revision was due to certain tax true-ups in its tax provision resulting from changes in its annual pretax income or loss estimates from those previous readings.
