Yannick Djalo shines as Quakes shock Fire

Santa Clara, CA, United States (4E Sports) – Yannick Djalo delivered a goal and two assists as the San Jose Earthquakes blasted Chicago Fire, 5-1 Wednesday at Buck Shaw Stadium.

Shea Salinas collected a pass from Djalo before firing from 15 yards for a goal in 45th minute.

Atiba Harris blasted a loose rebound from four yards in the 52nd minute to make it 2-0.

Chris Wondolowski then slipped a shot from 12 yards in the 62nd minute for a 3-0 Quakes lead.

Taking a pass from Matt Watson, Grant Ward shot one back for the Fire in the 75th minute to cut their deficit to 3-1.

But Djalo’s blast from 20 yards made it a 4-1 Quake lead in the 79th minute.

Cordell Cato converted a pass by Wondolowski five mnuutes later for the final score.
