NBA player takes to Twitter in effort to find aunt’s murder suspect

Sacramento, CA, United States (NewsBahn) – NBA player Matt Barnes has taken to Twitter in an effort to find out information on the murder of his aunt.

Michael Lee Williams, 51, is suspected of stabbing Tanganyika Williams, 48, on July 8 on a street in Sacramento.

He is missing, however, and Barnes wants help in finding the man.

“This dude stabbed my auntie in the neck last week & left her for dead on the sidewalk, she ended up dying on the way to the hospital in the ambulance. If you hv any info on his where abouts contact the #SacPD”

The suspect was last seen near Stockton Blvd. and 65th Street. He donned an apparent ‘face covering’, according to authorities.

He is said to be 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing about 220 pounds, with brown eyes.

Barnes, who hails from Sacramento, currently plays for the Los Angeles Clippers.
