Cleveland, OH, United States (NewsBahn) – The Cleveland Cavaliers signed top pick Andrew Wiggins to 4 year deal Thursday.
He received an allowed 20 percent premium, meaning his starting salary will be $5.5 million per season.
Wiggins, out of Kansas, is believed to have superstar potential, but he could be headed to Minnesota in a deal for Kevin Love.
The Cavs couldn’t complete such a trade for 30 days under NBA rules, however.
The Chicago Bulls reportedly may swoop in and get Love for a package of forward Taj Gibson and newly signed Nikola Mirotic.
The Golden State Warriors are said to be interested in acquiring Love, as well.
