Minneapolis, MN, United States (4E Sports) – Anthony Swarzak allowed just two hits and one walk while in five sharp innings to help the Minnesota Twins beat the Cleveland Indians, 3-1 Wednesday at Target Field.
The right-handed Swarzak (2-0) struck out three in 75 pitches.
A Jose Ramirez double in the third plated David Murphy to put the Indians up 1-0. Sam Fuld singled to tie the game in the same inning.
In the fifth, Brian Dozier drove in Danny Santana with double to give the lead back to the Twins at 2-1.
Oswaldo Arcia blasted a two-out homer in th sixth to make it a 3-1 advantage for the Twins.
Indians starter Trevor Bauer (4-5) gave up three earned runs while striking out seven in six innings.
