Myrtle Beach, SC, United States (4E Sports) – Andy Milovich, Myrtle Beach Pelicans GM, agreed to have a prostate examination during a 7th inning-stretch once Fallon Emery’s Facebook page gets 10,000 likes.

Emery is a 10-year-old local of Carolina Forest who was diagnosed with brain cancer last 2013.

Since then, her Fierce Fallon Facebook page displayed the girl’s courage while battling cancer through social media.

The Facebook page also became an avenue for the people to support Fallon and her family.

Milovich, who was promoting Thursday night’s prostate awareness game was asked if he would be willing to get examined in front of his fans.

If Emery’s page gets 10,000 likes by noon on Thursday, the Pelicans GM will deliver on his promise.

“I’ll likely do it from our radio booth and the fans will see me from the shoulder up,” Milovich added.

The team’s Strike Out cancer campaign includes giving away foam fingers with blue ribbons to the first 1,000 men age 18 and older.

According to ESPN, the team will also auction items on August 2, which are signed by sports luminaries to be able to raise money for Emery.

“Cancer has touched the Pelicans family in multiple ways over the last 12 months and we’re happy that we can play a small part in drawing awareness and raising funds to assist in this fight,” Milovich said.
