Atlantic City, NJ, United States (NewsBahn) – Over $180K was stolen in an Atlantic City casino armed robbery Monday morning according to several media reports.
Two plastic boxes containing more than $180,000 in cash were taken by two suspects just after 6 am at Caesars Atlantic City, according to NBC 10 in Philadelphia.
At least one of the two men pulled out a gun during the heist, police indicated.
The New Jersey State Police Gaming Bureau is investigating the matter, which means the robbery likely occurred within the casino as opposed to being in a public or hotel area.
Authorities are expected to issue a press release regarding the investigation Tuesday morning.
