  • On Wednesday, someone allegedly broke into a garage on Mahoning Street and stole a saw. The incident, police said, remains under investigation at this time.
  • Police have initiated an investigation into a hit-and-run accident that occurred on East Scribner Avenue near its intersection with North Brady Street on Wednesday. Further, someone struck a red 2006 Saturn Ion. Police found white paint on the victim’s vehicle, and the victim recalled parking behind a white van.
  • Police received a report about a hold-up alarm on Wednesday at the Timberland Federal Credit Union on Beaver Drive. Upon arrival police found the alarm to be accidental.
  • Police received a report about a burglar alarm on Wednesday at the Social Security Administration building on Liberty Boulevard. Upon arrival police found everything to be OK.
