David Price shines as Rays topple Jays

St. Petersburg, FL, United States (4E Sports) – David Price gave up five hits in over eight innings to lead the Tampa Bay Rays in toppling the Toronto Blue Jays, 3-0 Sunday at Tropicana Field.

The left-handed Price (9-7) struck out five and walked one.

Logan Forsythe’s run-scoring single in the second put the Rays up 1-0 before Jose Molina added another RBI single in the sixth to make it 2-0.

In the seventh a sacrifice fly by Evan Longoria plated Kevin Kiermaier to give the Rays a 3-0 lead.

R.A. Dickey (7-9), who gave up five hits and struck out five in six innings, took the loss.
