Dallas, TX, United States (4E Sports) – The Memphis Grizzlies have acquired Vince Carter reportedly on a three-year, $12.2 million deal.

The Dallas Mavericks tried to re-sign Carter with the cap-room exception worth $2.7 million per year, but the 37-year-old forward asked for a two-year deal worth $8 million.

They didn’t have the financial flexibility after extending a three-year, $46 million offer sheet to restricted free agent Chandler Parsons.

The Grizzlies had tried to acquire Carter back in 2013.
