Clearfield Man Killed in Bradford Twp. Accident

BRADFORD TOWNSHIP – A 94-year-old Clearfield man, Albert L. Dinsmore, was killed in a head-on collision Friday on Bear Hill Road in Bradford Township, reported the state police at Clearfield.

Dinsmore was traveling westbound while a vehicle operated by Brian A. Knepp Jr., 18, of Bigler was traveling eastbound. For unknown reasons, Dinsmore’s vehicle traveled into Knepp’s lane.

Knepp attempted to avoid having his vehicle struck by the Dinsmore vehicle. However, it was struck head-on by the Dinsmore vehicle, state police said.

Neither Dinsmore nor Knepp was wearing their seatbelts at the time of the collision. State police were assisted at the scene by the Bigler-Jackson-Woodland Fire Department and Clearfield and Moshannon Valley emergency medical services.
