Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Stevie Nicks is all set to join the upcoming seventh season of “The Voice” U.S. as guest adviser to work with Adam Levine’s team, it was announced on Wednesday.
“#TeamAdam it’s time to welcome @StevieNicks to #TheVoice family!” the music reality show’s official Twitter post read.
Asked how Levine was able to get the 66-year-old Fleetwood Mac singer to join his 12-member fleet, the Maroon 5 front man told Extra, “Bribery, begging, pleading,” to which Nicks added, as a joke, “Presents… fur coat, some beautiful shoes, sheets.”
Nicks, on her new feat, said, “I just think it’s a great show… Adam would never be sitting here seven years later if this wasn’t a great show.” This is not her first time on the show, though, as she performed the song “Landslide” with Levine’s team in the first season. For this season, she is expected to rehearse with Levine’s team as they prepare for the battle rounds.
Filming for The Voice season 7 is on-going, and is all set to premiere on NBC on September 22, with Pharell Williams and Gwen Stefani joining Levine and Blake Shelton as coaches.
