Belo Horizonte, Brazil (NewsBahn) – Germany raced out to a 5-0 halftime lead Tuesday en route to a 7-1 rout of Brazil in a World Cup semifinal.

The Germans will face the winner of Wednesday’s other semifinal matchup of Argentina vs. Netherlands.

Thomas Muller scored 11 minutes in, while Miroslav Klose followed with another tally just 12 minutes later for a 2-0 lead.

Toni Kroos then scored twice just three minutes apart and the rout was on.

André Schürrle netted a pair later in the second half as Germany enjoyed a laugher on soccer’s biggest stage.

Oscar scored Brazil’s lone goal in the final minute of regulation but it hardly put a dent in Germany’s big win.
