Miami, FL, United States (4E Sports) – Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston could cash in on a $10 million insurance policy if he wasn’t picked in the top ten of the 2015 draft through injury or illness.

The policy he took is equally split between a permanent disability policy, which he would collect if he were injured and could never play again, and a loss of value policy, which he would collect if he fell out of the top ten in the draft.

A Heisman Trophy winner, Winston could have been a first-round pick this year if not for the NFL rule disqualifying players who have less than three years after high school graduation.

Winston’s move sgnifies that he’s concerned about the risks of spending another year at the amateur level.
