Cleveland, OH, United States (NewsBahn) – The Cleveland Cavaliers and superstar guard Kyrie Irving have reportedly agreed to a five-year, $90 million deal.
Sources indicate the deal is the maximum the NBA allows under its CBA.
Irving averaged 20.8 points and 6.1 assists in a career-high 71 games for the Cavs last season, despite seeing a dip in his play as it progressed.
Cavs owner Dan Gilbert expressed his pleasure with the signing in a tweet.
