Backed by two homers, Hutchison pitches Jays past Brewers

Toronto, ON, United States (NewsBahn) – Drew Hutchison fanned 10 batters over seven strong innings, leading the Toronto Blue Jays to a 4-1 win over the Milwaukee Brewers Tuesday night.

Hutchison allowed just three hits and a pair of walks in improving to 6-6.

Casey Janssen allowed just a single in the ninth to collect his 13th save of the season.

Marco Estrada allowed just six hits and a pair of runs over six innings but fell to 7-5 for the Brewers.

Jose Bautista and Colby Rasmus homered for the Jays, who improved to 46-39.

The Brewers fell to 51-34, with Ryan Braun’s RBI double among just their four hits.
