Ex-NFL receiver Randy Moss to coach on son’s HS football team

Charlotte, NC, United States (4E Sports) – Former NFL wide receiver Randy Moss has accepted a job as associate head football coach of Victory Christian Center High School in Charlotte, N.C.

He joins his son, Thaddeus, who made the team this season for his junior year after the family moved from the New England area.

Moss tallied 982 receptions for 15,292 yards and 156 touchdowns in 14 NFL seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, Oakland Raiders, New England Patriots, Tennessee Titans and San Francisco 49ers.

He holds the NFL single-season touchdown reception record of 23, set in 2007, the NFL single-season touchdown reception record for a rookie with 17, set in 1998, and is second on the NFL all-time regular season touchdown reception list.

Moss caught 28 passes for 434 yards and three touchdowns for the 49ers in his last NFL season in 2012.
