NY, NY, United States (NewsBahn) – Former Kansas freshman star Andrew Wiggins will look to take his scoring ability to the Cleveland Cavaliers after the team took him with the No. 1 pick in Thursday’s NBA draft.
Wiggins was a scoring sensation in his only year with the Jayhawks, netting a frosh record for the program at 17.1 points per game.
The Bucks followed by selecting Duke star Jabari Parker at No. 2 and Wiggins’ teammate Joel Embiid went at No. 3 to the Sixers.
Arizona forward Aaron Gordon went in the No. 4 slot to the Magic, while Australian guard Dante Exum was the Jazz’ pick at No. 5.
