Gaylord, MI, United States (NewsBahn) – A Christian radio host in Michigan is facing child-sex charges after his arrest Friday for allegedly paying another person to set up sexual encounters with minors.

The WCSG Radio host was arrested on charges of first-degree criminal sexual conduct after a Homeland Security Investigations’ Operation Predator investigation.

“Effective today, John Balyo is no longer affiliated with WCSG Radio,” station officials said of the host in a release. He is being “put on indefinite paid administrative leave pending further investigation and the legal process.”

The department said in a release it “has arrested more than 10,000 individuals for crimes against children, including the production and distribution of online child pornography, traveling overseas for sex with minors, and sex trafficking of children,”

Balyo was reportedly a client of Ronald Lee Moser of Battle Creek, Mich. Moser was said to offer paying customers sex with underage boys. Police had raided Moser’s home earlier in the month.
