East Lansing, MI, United States (4E Sports) – Cleveland State sophomore guard Bryn Forbes has transferred to Michigan State, giving the Spartans their second transfer in a week.

The 6-3 Forbes averaged 15.6 points and shot 42 percent from beyond the arc last season. He played at Lansing Sexton High with Spartans forward Denzel Valentine.

Tom Izzo and his staff added West Virginia transfer Eron Harris earlier in the week. The 6-foot-3 Harris, who is from Indianapolis, averaged 17.2 points last season and also considered Michigan and Purdue.

There is a chance that Forbes, who has two years of eligibility, could be eligible for the 2014-15 season if he receives a waiver from the NCAA due to an illness in his family. If not, he must sit out a season.

Harris, for his part, will sit out this season and have two years of eligibility.
