Sharks’ Logan Couture ready for camp after hand surgery

San Jose, CA, United States (4E Sports) – San Jose Sharks forward Logan Couture will be ready for training camp after surgery for a broken hand, suffered while fighting Los Angeles Kings forward Mike Richards in Game 6 of the first round playoffs.

Despite the injury, Couture played in Game 7 of the series, which the Sharks lost after winning the first three games.

Sharks general manager Doug Wilson said the procedure went as expected.

The 25-year-old Couture had 54 points (23 goals) and was plus-21 in 65 regular-season games. He had three points in seven playoff games.
