Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Following a string of gestures in an attempt to get back together, singer Robin Thicke has named his upcoming album “Paula,” after his estranged wife Paula Patton.
Thicke’s seventh and latest album is said to be set for release on July 1, according to Rap-Up.com. The entire album was written and produced by Thicke himself.
The “Blurred Lines” singer has debuted “Get Her Back,” the first single of “Paula,” at the Bllboard Music Awards in May. He is again expected to perform some of his new songs at the BET Awards on June 29.
Thicke, 37, and Patton, 38, were high school sweethearts and have been married for nine years, until announcing their separation last February. They have a son together, three-year-old Julian.
Since the split, Thicke has bluntly expressed his pleas for Patton to take him back during some of his shows.
