Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – Anna Kendrick is the face of Elle Magazine’s July issue and in the interview, she revealed that no guy has hit on her since she filmed the 2009 flick “Up in the Air,” and believed that her being an “ultralate bloomer” was actually a blessing.
The 28-year-old actress, also dubbed as the “savviest social-media star of her generation,” admitted that despite her mega achievements (an Oscar nomination, chart-topping song, etc.), she hasn’t been hit on since starring in “Up in the Air” with George Clooney. “Honest to God,” she insists. On the other hand, Kendrick has broken up with her boyfriend of four years Edgar Wright last year.
In spite of the media highlighting her “hotness,” the “Pitch Perfect” star also said that she has “never felt like I’ve exactly traded on my looks.”
She said, “When I was a teenager, I was an ultralate bloomer, and my mom would say it was a blessing, because it means you never have to wonder if guys are only interested in you because you’ve got boobs. I would have been thrilled if guys were interested in me because of my boobs!” Kendrick added, “Similarly, I think I’m lucky that I’ve never had a crisis about whether the only reason I’m successful is because I’m crazy hot. It’s not something that crosses my mind.”
Meanwhile, on her feisty image on the magazine’s issue, she wrote to her 2.5 million Twitter followers, “The character I’m channeling for my Elle cover shoot probably killed her 1st husband.”
