Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E) – After suffering a serious car crash over the weekend, Tracy Morgan’s condition is now stable, and his camp slammed rumors regarding the amputation of his leg.

A statement from the actor’s representative reads, “Tracy remains in critical but stable condition. His fiancée Megan is by his side. The concern for his well-being has been overwhelming, but Megan is respectfully asking that the media await official word through these channels before speculating (mostly inaccurately) on his condition. Rumors about amputating his leg are completely fabricated.”

On Saturday, the limo bus that carried Morgan and some colleagues was hit by a tractor-trailer on the New Jersey Turnpike. The collision claimed the life of comedian James McNair, and left Morgan and three other passengers with injuries.

Morgan, who has reportedly incurred broken ribs, a broken nose, a broken leg and a broken femur, has underwent surgery and is expected to stay in the hospital for several weeks. On Sunday, his spokesperson stated that the comedian is getting more responsive.

Meanwhile, the tractor-trailer driver named Kevin Roper, who works for Walmart, has turned himself in to the police and was released on $50,000 bail on Saturday night. Walmart, in a statement, said that it will take full responsibility if it’s proven that the fault was caused by their truck.
