Hackensack, NJ, United States (4E) – Self-professed “Queen of Rap” Li’l Kim has welcomed a baby girl named Royal Reign on Monday in New Jersey, her representative confirmed.
In a statement to E! News, the rapper’s representative said the little girl was born at 9:58 in the morning in NJ’s Hackensack University Medical Center, weighing 6 lbs., 5 oz., and measuring 19.5 inches long.
This is the first child for Li’l Kim, 39, who first announced her pregnancy last February during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York, saying, “My little boo boo is coming! My little baby boo, my sunshine!”
In April, Li’l Kim posted a “save the date” invitation to her May 20 baby shower on Instagram, saying she’s having a baby girl. “What a perfect day to share this wonderful news with U,” she wrote. “The fab@davidtutera is throwing my royal baby shower for my lil’ princess.”
The baby’s father is said to be rapper Mr. Papers, Li’l Kim’s boyfriend, though the new mom is yet to confirm it.
