Patrick Kane shines as Blackhawks Game 7 vs. Kings

Los Angeles, CA, United States (4E Sports) – Patrick Kane had two goals and set up Duncan Keith’s tying goal with 8:26 left as the Chicago Blackhawks edged the Los Angeles Kings, 4-3 Friday at Staples Center.

Dwight King scored a first period goal for the Kings, but the Blackhawks took a 2-1 lead following goals from Kane and Ben Smith early in the second period.

Drew Doughty tied it with 14:28 left with a wrist shot past a screened Crawford before feeding Alec Martinez r a low shot through traffic at 12:22 to put the Kings up 3-2.

But Keith and Kane beat Jonathan Quick for goals in the second part of the third period as the Blackhawks went up 4-3.

Then Corey Crawford came up with several late saves as Blackhawks hung on.

Crawford totaled 26 saves while his Rangers counterpart, Quick, made 21.

The Blackhawks trailed 3-1 in the conference finals but has now forced a decisive seventh game Sunday in Chicago. The winner hosts the New York Rangers on Wednesday.
