Berea, OH, United States (4E Sports) – Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel said that he doesn’t care about criticism following negative reactions toward his Memorial Day weekend in Las Vegas.

“I don’t live my life according to you guys or according to what other people think of me,” said Manziel.

The rookie quarterback complained that people take his pictures wherever he goes and that it ends up with comments that he’s doing something wild.

Manziel’s weekend was widely discussed after photos appeared in social media showing him with Rob Gronkowski, at a UFC fight, and at poolside with a young woman.

He said a weekend away does not affect his approach or commitment to the Browns.

“If I want to go out and have some fun and it doesn’t hinder what my main goals in life are, then I really don’t care what anyone has to say,” he said.

Coach Mike Pettine said he advised Manziel to be ready to answer questions, but called the trip “a non-issue” with the team.
