Cleveland, OH, United States (4E Sports) – Yoenis Cespedes drove in a career-high five runs while Josh Donaldson scored a career-high four runs to carry the Oakland A’s to a 13-3 triumph over the Cleveland Indians Sunday at Progressive Field.

Donaldson added three RBIs while Brandon Moss drove in two runs as the A’s (28-16) racked up 12 hits and nine walks en route to their ninth victory in last 10 games and a three-game sweep of the Indians.

Jesse Chavez (4-1) yielded two runs on six hits with three walks and six strikeouts in five innings for Oakland.

The A’s beat up on Justin Masterson (2-3), who allowed seven runs on seven hits with five walks and a strikeout in just 4 1/3 frames as the Indians slipped to 19-25 after losing five of their last six games.

The Indians grabbed an early 1-0 lead behind Michael Bourn’s first homer of the season but Brandon Moss tied the count after scoring on a throwing error by Lonnie Chisenhall in the second.

The A’s did the most damage in the fourth when Donaldson and Moss drew walks to lead off the fourth and back-to-back hits by John Jaso and Josh Reddick brought them home for a 3-1 lead.

Donaldson and Moss came back up an inning later, knocking back-to-back RBI hits before Cespedes doubled both home for a 7-1 advantage.

Coming in with a 9-2 lead in the sixth, Jim Johnson came in relief of Chavez and gave the Indians their best chance to get back into the game.

With a runner on first, Johnson walked three straight Cleveland batters, leaving a bases-loaded jam for Fernando Abad to clean up.

Abad struck out Ryan Raburn, and the Indians never had another runner in scoring position until the ninth.
