Georgia Tech loses linebacker Jabari Hunt-Days, back Travis Custis

Atlanta, GA, United States (4E Sports) – Georgia Tech starting linebacker Jabari Hunt-Days did not meet the NCAA eligibility requirements for the 2014 season, the school announced.

Hunt-Days, who started at linebacker the last two seasons before moving to defensive end in the spring, has played in 27 career games, with 129 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss and two interceptions.

He was expected to be a leader on the Yellow Jackets’ defense.

The school also announced that highly regarded freshman running back Travis Custis is transferring to Georgia Military College. He signed with Georgia Tech in 2013 but didn’t enroll until January 2014.
