Asdrubal Cabrera snapping out of slump for Tribe

News Room Administrators Staff

Cleveland, OH, United States (NewsBahn) – Asdrubal Cabrera started the season slowly for the Cleveland Indians, but he now appears to be hitting his stride, quite literally.

The shortstop has three hits Thursday, including a single, double and homer while scoring two runs and knocking in a pair vs. the Twins.

He also had two hits and scored a run Wednesday as the Indians edged the Twins 4-3.

He was hitless in seven at-bats Monday and Tuesday and his batting average finally reached over .230 Thursday.

Cabrera is a lifetime .270 hitter, so the Indians expect more production from the infielder.
