Patrick Kane’s third period goals power Blackhawks past Wild

Chicago, IL, United States (4E Sports) – Patrick Kane and Bryan Bickell both scored twice for the Chicago Blackhawks in a win over the Minnesota Wild, 5-2 Friday in Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals at United Center.

Bickell and Marian Hossa scored on power plays in the first and second periods to give the Blackhawks a 2-0 advantage entering the third.

The Wild tied it at 2 early in the third period with goals from Clayton Stoner and Kyle Brodziak.

Then Kane tallied again while Bickell had another goal to give the Blackhawks a 5-2 winning margin.

Corey Crawford stopped 30 of 32 shots for the victors, who host game two Sunday afternoon.
