Ducks rout Stars with four power play goals

Anaheim, CA, United States (4E Sports) – Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry had a goal and two assists each to lead the Anaheim Ducks over the Dallas Stars, 6-2 Friday in game five of their first-round series at Honda Center.

The Ducks scored four power-play goals in taking a 3-2 series lead.

Nick Bonino scored the Ducks’ first power play goal before Jamie Benn scored unassisted for the Stars to tie the game midway through the first period.

Rickard Rakell then converted on another power play to give the Ducks a 2-1 lead entering the second.

Mathieu Perreault then put the Ducks up 3-1 at 1:05 of the second period with another power play goal.

Shawn Horcoff scored for the Stars at 8:19 of the second to make it a one goa; game.

In the third, the Ducks had goals from Jakob Silfverberg, Getzlaf and on a power play by Perry within the first 6:49 for a 6-2 lead that knocked the fight out of the Stars.
