Toronto, ON, Canada (4E Sports) – Chris Davis had two hits as the Baltimore Orioles dominated the Toronto Blue Jays, 11-4 Thursday at Rogers Centre.
The Blue Jays took a 3-0 lead in the second after Dioner Navarro drilled a leadoff homer off Norris and Colby Rasmus hit a two-run shot.
Jonathan Schoop’s fifth inning homer made it 3-1 and triggered a binge by the Orioles.
Davis collected an RBI also in the fifth and a two-run hit in the seventh to put the Orioles ahead 4-3.
Adam Jones had an RBI and Matt Wieters’ single produced two runs to extend the Orioles lead to 7-3
RBI doubles by Nelson Cruz and Jones in the eighth gave the Orioles a commanding 11-3 lead before the Blue Jays made it 11-4 with Jose Bautista’s single.
Bud Norris (1-2) pitched six innings for the Orioles, allowing three runs and five hits while walking one and striking out four.
