Jackets score 4 straight to rally past Penguins

Columbus, OH, United States (4E Sports) – Nick Foligno’s overtime goal lifted the Columbus Blue Jackets from a 3-0 deficit to beat the Pittsburgh Penguins, 4-3 Wednesday at Nationwide Arena.

Craig Adams, Chris Kunitz and James Neal all scored in a 5:01 span in the first period to give the Penguins to a 3-0l lead.

Blue Jackets rookie Boone Jenner scored on a 5-on-3 power play at 16:39 of the opening period to cut it to 3-1.

Ryan Johansen then scored on a popwer play in the second period to bring the Blue jakcets within 3-2.

Then Dubinsky received a quick backhanded pass from Johansen, which he netted in with 22.5 seconds left to send the game into overtime.

At 2:49 of the estra period, Nick Foligno carried the puck through the neutral zone and was 12 feet across the blue line when he fired a wrist shot for the winning goal.

Sergei Bobrovsky had 22 saves for the Blue Jackets while Marc-Andre Fleury finished with 42 saves for the Penguins.

The Blue Jackets victory sends the series back to Pittsburgh for Game 5 on Saturday night tied 2-2.
